Strength to Strength is run by Richard Black

Richard Black is a trained counsellor and belongs to the Living Wisdom Association of Counsellors.
Through his counselling, seminars, and public speaking he works to help others renew their mind, heal their relationships, and move on in life.
He has been involved in pastoral ministry for many years and understands the everyday struggles that people face and the demands on church leaders.  He has degrees from the University of Canterbury, Laidlaw College, and is currently undertaking postgraduate study at Massey University.   He is married to Jennifer and they have three children.
Richard heads up the Christchurch branch of the Living Wisdom Association.
Living Wisdom was founded by David Riddell and is a proven mental & emotional health ministry.  It operates by setting people free by ministering truth into their mind and situation.  Living Wisdom offers real answers to real issues.
Living Wisdom is:
  • a counselling and training organisation
  • a mode of counselling that focuses on finding “the truth that will set you free”
  • an association of counsellors and presenters
